October 2005: Independent assurance over the 2004 CO2 inventoryHolcim engaged KPMG LLP to perform an independent review of the 2004 CO2 inventory of our global cement operations and an independent assurance report was issued on 31 October 2005. September 2005: Holcim "leader of the industry" in DJSI 2006Holcim Ltd has again been selected as an index component of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and the European Dow Jones STOXX Sustainability Index. This year Holcim has also been acknowledged as "leader of the industry".
March 2005: Holcim included in Ethibel SRI indexesHolcim has been selected for inclusion in the Ethibel Investment Register and the Ethibel Excellence Sustainability Index. Ethibel has been a leading European research organization in the field of CSR and SD for ten years, reviewing companies worldwide on their SD performance. February 2005: Best sustainability report - Holcim receives 3rd prizeHolcim has received 3rd prize in the Swiss ÖBU Awards for best sustainability report in the 'large companies' category behind COOP Switzerland and Roche respectively. |
